Our very own Chris Broom presents an in-person talk on "Humour in Genealogy" to
FELIXSTOWE Family History Society on Wednesday, 14th September at 7:30pm.
He will refer to some remarkable records of baptisms, marriages, deaths and even censuses — as well as Wills, diaries, newspapers and Court records — that he has encountered during his researches. Humour, whether unintentional or deliberate, can pop up anywhere, despite registration and legal papers being a supposedly serious business.
This is one of FxFHS's monthly meetings, that are held at 7:30pm each second Wednesday
at Broadway House, Orwell Road, Felixstowe, IP11 7DD.
