... in the Local Rag
This event is organised in Ipswich by the local branch of the Suffolk Family History Society.
Pip Wright presents an entertaining romp through Suffolk and Norfolk Newspapers, 1701 – 1900.
It will remind researchers of the sorts of stories that are hidden in the Archives of Local Records Offices.
[Historical writer and author Pip spoke to us in AVSFHG most entertainingly on 17/9/18 and 18/6/19].
Car Park entrance: in Waterworks Street, IP4 1JG
Admission £2 per person for SFHS members
£2:50 per person for non-members, who are also warmly welcomed — you can join the Society at the meeting if you wish.
Tickets are not required — just turn up and pay on the door.
Further details can be obtained via the "Contact" tab of the Ipswich Group here.
☞ As usual, there is no monthly meeting of the Alde Valley Suffolk Family History Group in August.
